Part-time Safety Supervisor needed for Japanese Manufacturing in Phoenix, AZ

A Japanese Manufacturing is currently looking for a part time, fully onsite Safety Supervisor who ensures high safety standards during the installation and maintenance of exhaust gas cleaning systems at the company facility in the Phoenix, AZ area.

Acting as a liaison between the company management and on-site technicians, you will communicate instructions clearly and support safe work practices.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this part-time opportunity would be between the 34k-35k

Your essential duties would be as follows:

• Receive and clearly communicate safety directives and operational instructions from management to the on-site technician team

• Monitor daily work activities to ensure compliance with cleanroom and facility safety protocols

• Conduct daily safety briefings and pre-task risk assessments

• Ensure proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Address safety concerns or violations promptly and professionally, including situations that may be difficult to address

• Report incidents, near-misses, and safety hazards to company management and the client without delay

• Communication Skills: Ability to convey instructions clearly and address safety issues confidently

• Work Style: Comfortable working on-site and remaining active throughout the shift

• Language: Professional proficiency in English for client and team communication

• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety and Health Course: Candidates who have completed this course will be considered a strong plus. Those without the certification must be willing to complete the course after hire.
