A Japanese Electronics/ Semiconductor Company is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite Inside Sales Representative to join their Torrance, CA team.


​​​​​​​The Inside Sales Representative manages and maintains customer accounts while supporting manufacturing and distribution operations.


This role involves handling inquiries, managing orders, forecasting demand, coordinating shipments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Japanese language skills are a plus.​​​​​​​


DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between 50k-55k


Your essential duties would eb as follows:

Manage and maintain customer accounts

  • Receive and handle inquiries from factories, contract manufacturers, and OEMs

  • Project and manage customer demand through forecasting and inventory management

  • Enter orders in ERP, schedule assemblies, and arrange shipments

  • Contact buyers to follow up on orders and inquiries

  • Update customer orders via WebEDI or Open Order Reports

  • Conduct and follow up on returned materials (RMAs)

  • Maintain and distribute marketing tools such as catalogs, manuals, and software

  • Organize and manage quotations

  • Take on projects and tasks assigned by management

  • Perform general clerical duties

  • Highly self-motivated

  • Customer service and team-work oriented

  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing

  • Teachable and detail-oriented

  • English required (speaking, reading, writing), Japanese a plus

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or support role

  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries

  • Skilled in project management, forecasting, and inventory control

  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, Excel

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines

  • Team player, providing excellent customer service
