A Japanese Luxury Retail Company located in West Hollywood, CA is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite  Japanese Bilingual Customer Success Specialist &Business Development to join their team. 


 This role involves assisting customers with product evaluations, explaining purchase offers, and supporting daily store operations.


No prior experience is required—this is a great opportunity for individuals interested in retail, luxury brands, and customer service. Basic Japanese language skills are a plus.

DOE and skills, the pay range for this position would be between 48k-60k with great benefits. 


Your main responsibilities would be as follows: 


Customer Service & Buyback Support

  • Assist customers at the counter with product appraisal intake

  • Explain buyback pricing and terms clearly and professionally

  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive in-store experience

  • Support sales activities and assist customers with product inquiries

Sales & Store Support

  • Assist with showcasing and selling luxury items (e.g., handbags, watches, accessories)

  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store displays

  • Support customers throughout the purchasing process

Data Entry & Inventory Management

  • Input and update transaction details and inventory information in internal systems

  • Ensure accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, and stock levels

  • Assist with inventory checks and stock organization

Store Operations

  • Support store opening and closing procedures

  • Assist with daily operational tasks and administrative duties as needed

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations


Please consider the following qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • No prior experience required (training will be provided)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, POS systems, Microsoft Office is a plus)

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Some Japanese ability is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or administrative roles

  • Basic understanding of U.S. accounting principles (GAAP) preferred

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Fluent Japanese skills
