Research Student Scholarship
for graduate study leading to a master’s or doctorate
18 or 24 months, beginning April or Sept./Oct. 2025
The filing deadline is
Monday, June 3, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. (received).
Benefits include:
Stability of a well-established scholarship (since 1954)
Educational fees, all tuition
Monthly living allowance
Traveling expenses to and from Japan
Supplemental Japanese language preparation if determined necessary
Notes:
NEW: Written exams of Japanese language are only required for applicants pursuing courses of studies conducted in Japanese.
Scholars should contribute to mutual understanding between Japan and the United States.
